How to Pass WGU Financial Accounting Quickly?

As someone who just recently passed this class, not but 6 months ago, I wanted to share with you a few tips and tricks for how you can pass WGU Financial Accounting quickly. 

For starters, this is the hardest entry level class in the program, by far, second only to really cost and Managerial Accounting. 

The quickest way to pass this class however is to study and get the information for the Practice Assessment down to as close as 100% as possible once you realize that you’re admitted to the University and that you are taking this class. You can actually knock this class out in about a day (D101 I believe is the course code for this off the top of my head if I remember correctly) if you understand the PA. Once you have the answers for the Practice Assessment basically 100% memorized, I would say that you need to take the risk and swing for the fences and take that objective assessment, your likelihood of passing is very high if you can do this.

Another Piece of Advice Regarding the Trial Balance Sheet and the Excel Portion of the Exam

Another quick piece of advice that I can give you regarding the Trial Balance sheet section of the Financial Accounting Excel is to MEMORIZE this like your freakin grade depends on it, because it very well just may. Much like how when you are taking the CPA exam they weight the task based simulations as like 50% of the exam score, WGU does much the same in the obvious preparation for this exam. I would say that Western Governor’s University, the one thing it does the best is prep you for the CPA Exam, even including Wiley CPA Exam courses as part of their classes.
